  1. Reservations are only available through the reservation platform on our website.
  2. Booking Deposit is as follows:

    Lunch – RM 50
    Kushiyaki – RM 100
    Dinner – RM 150
    Krug Ryoutei – RM 5,000

    This, of course, will be deducted from your final bill on the day of your reservation.

  3. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards and e-wallets.
  4. Kindly acknowledge any dietary restrictions in the party when reserving. We may be able to cater to some restrictions given advanced notice of 7 days.
  5. Your reservation is only confirmed once we have received the booking deposit.
  6. The earliest you may book a table is 15 days in advance.
  7. Our restaurant is not suitable for children due in part to the length of the meal (around three hours) and potential disruption to the other guests dining the same evening. Any young adults wishing to dine are welcomed and will receive the same tasting menu as the rest of the table.
  8. Reservations may be modified or adjusted to meet Government Guidelines.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellations for confirmed bookings must be done 48 hours before the dining date/time. We reserve the right to charge cancellation fee paid during booking.
  2. Cancellations must be done either online via the link provided in the confirmation email, email, or, via phone.  
  3. By submitting a Reservation, you agree to the terms and conditions set out by the Cancellation Policy.
  4. A 5% processing fee will be charged for refunds of deposits or pre-payments.

  1. Confirmation of booking the Krug Chef’s Table is subject to availability and upon collecting of a deposit.
  2. KRUG CHEF’S TABLE (KRUG Ryoutei) can accommodate a maximum of 16 seated guests.
  3. Minimum spend of RM 20,000+ applies.

Q1: Is Shin’Labo team fully vaccinated?

Our team is fully vaccinated in accordance to the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. We practise fortnightly PCR testing and monitor stringently on their individual health status. We abide and practise SOP guidelines set by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

Q2: How frequently do you sanitize your premise?

We practise scheduled sanitization before each service hours.

Q3: What type of food do you serve?

We serve elevated Yōshoku creations fused with modern French techniques using exquisite Japanese produce and Malaysian homegrown ingredients.

Q4: What menus do you offer?

Breakfast – Grab and Go, takeaway only

Lunch – Bincho Donburi ala carte and sets

High Tea – Matcha and Caviar High Tea

Kushiyaki – Charcoal grilled meat, poultry, seafood on a stick.

Omakase menu – Kikuryo RM 668+, Kikumaru RM 888+, Chef James Won’s  Omakase RM 2000+ onwards, Krug Chef’s Table minimum spend RM 20,000+

Beverages – Cocktails, Spirits, Sake, Wine

Q5: What are your operating hours?

Breakfast – 8:30am till 10:30am – Grab & Go only

Lunch – 11:30am till 2:00pm

High Tea – 2:30pm till 5:30pm

Kushiyaki & Lounge – 6:00pm till 10:30pm

Dinner – 6:00pm, 7:00pm or 8:00pm seating.

Q8: What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Touch&Go, GrabPay, ShopeePay.

Q9: What is your cancellation policy?

We operate a 48 hours cancellation policy and will refund any payments made should you need to cancel before that period. If it is lesser than 48 hours this deposit is non-refundable.

Q10: How long does the omakase menu last?

Kindly expect to dine with us for 2.5 – 3 hours.

Q11: Is there a dress code?

Yes. Smart casual.

Q12: Do you cater for children?

Our menu does not differentiate children and adults; children and adults are at the same pricing. Please note; we do not provide baby chairs and child amenities.

Q13: Is the restaurant wheelchair friendly?

Yes, we have designed walk ways and table height to suit their needs.

Q14: Do you serve vegetarians/vegans?

We offer vegetarian menu, regretfully we are unable to cater for vegan menu.

Q15: Are you halal?

We are a pork free establishment; however, we do serve alcohol.

Q16: Do you cater for special dietary requirements and allergies?

We will always do our best to accommodate your specific dietary requirements. As far as allergies are concerned, it is important to know that we do use nuts, gluten and other allergens in our kitchen, so while we can ensure your dishes are free of these ingredients it is essential that you know that these ingredients are still used on the premises. Kindly inform us 7 days in advance.

Q17: Do you allow smoking?

Regretfully, we do not allow any forms of cigarette, e-cigarette, cigar, and vape in our premises.
